Strawberry Nut Bread

A great recipe submitted by Marlene Scott, a family friend of Sarah Wissman.


  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups thawed unsweetened frozen strawberries (if sweetened, use less sugar)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup chopped nuts


  • Mix dry ingredients. Add the rest and stir to moisten. Pour into 2 well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 60-70 minutes.


  • A great way to get strawberries any time of the year
