Really Good Oven Baked Fish

Easy & great for lent!

Ingredients

  • About 2-3 pounds of white fish filets.
  • 1 cup milk.
  • 2 cups fine bread crumbs. (Italian).
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese.
  • 1/2 tsp. each :dried oregano,thyme,basil,paprika.
  • Several dashes of cayenne pepper.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1/2 stick melted butter.

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400*.
  • Pour milk in bowl add fish & let sit for 1/2 to 1 hour.
  • Mix crumbs wtth cheese & herbs and spread on shallow plate.
  • Dip each filet in milk then dredge in crumbs.
  • Put on sprayed baking sheet and drizzle with butter.
  • Bake 15-20 minutes or until light gold and flaky.
  • Serve with tarter sauce.

  • Easy & great for lent!
