Marinated Flank Steak

A favorite at the Lake House


  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon green onion, finely shopped
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 poun flank steak


  • Mix ingredients together.  Place in a 9×13 inch pan.  Add flank steak.  Marinate overnight, turning often.  Grill on a low flame turning often.  Discard marinade.


  • Have the butcher score the steak prior to marinating.
