Crock-Pot Sour Cream Salsa Chicken

This is a super easy tasty chicken recipe that can be made in the morning and ready by dinner time. 


  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup light sour cream
  • 1 jar of salsa


  • Spray the crock-pot with cooking spray.  Add the chicken breasts.  Sprinkle with taco seasoning.  Top with salsa.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  Place about 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixture into salsa sauce.  Stir in 1/4 cup of the sour cream.  Serve with chicken.


  • I use the frozen chicken breasts in a bag.
