Chinese Salad

Chinese Salad is a light summery salad that can be made any time.
Ingredients
- 1 medium head Nappa (Chinese) cabbage
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 1 small package slivered almonds
- 2 packages Oriental flavored Raman Noodles, crushed
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions
- Mix together Nappa cabbage and green onions, chill. Melt ½ stick butter in frying pan and toast next 3 ingredients until very brown. Boil the vinegar, sugar, oil and soy sauce for one minute, cool completely.
Notes
- You may prepare all of this as much as a day or 2 ahead, however, keep all three parts separate. Do not mix together until right before serving.
