Chicken supreme is a rich dish fit for a king
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 can Minot or evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- Parmesan cheese
- Slivered almonds
- Rice
Directions
- Boil chicken breasts until tender. Remove from bone and save broth. Cut chicken into small pieces. Combine garlic powder, mushroom soup, evaporated milk and cheddar cheese. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add, a little at a time, wine and mayonnaise, stirring after each addition. Place breast pieces in 9×13 baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until sauce is bubbly. Sprinkle with almonds, bake 5 minutes more. Serve over rice cooked in the chicken broth.
