A great recipe for feeding a family. Who doesn’t like meatloaf? Submited by Marlene Scott, a family friend of Sarah Wissman.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 cup water
Directions
- Mix together ground beef and next 6 ingredients. Mix ¼ cup tomato sauce and remaining ingredients to make sauce. Put meat mixture in a 9×5 inch baking pan and pour sauce over loaf. Bake at 350 for 1 ½ hours
