Cheesecake Cookies

There are not many things that I can think of that are better than either cheesecake or cookies. Except for Cheesecake Cookies. Now you can have you cake and eat cookies too!!!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Packed brown sugar
- ½ cup Chopped walnuts
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/3 cup Melted butter
- 1 package (8 ounces) Cream cheese
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Mix brown sugar, nuts and flour. Stir in butter and mix until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of the mixture and press remaining into an 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg. Add lemon juice, milk and vanilla. Blend. Pour into a baked crust and top with reserved crumbs. Bake 25 minutes at 350. Cool. Chill and cut into squares.
Notes
- These keep best refrigerated in an airtight container.
