A quick an easy homemade soup that kids will love.
Ingredients
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 carrots, cut into thin slices
- 2 stalks celery, cut into bite size pieces
- 8 green beans, cut into thirds
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cups water
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 4 bullion cubes
- 1/2 cup alphabet noodles
Directions
- In a 2 quart saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the vegetables and bay leaf. Stir and heat until the onion get soft (about 10 minutes.) Add the stewed tomatoes, water, bouillon, salt and pepper to taste. Add the alphabet noodles. Cover and cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Notes
- Add more water if it seems too thick.
